Our pre-fabricated garden cellars are constructed using food-grade polyethene, ensuring complete waterproofing. Inside, each vault is thoughtfully furnished with sturdy shelves supported by solid steel frames. Depending on the model, access is made easy through a staircase or ladder. Larger models are equipped with lighting and ventilation.
Installation is straightforward: choose a suitable spot, preferably facing north. A sloped location is ideal for models with diagonal entrances, making them especially suitable for areas with high groundwater levels due to their shallower installation depth. Depending on soil and groundwater conditions, a dry concrete or concrete slab is laid, and the lower area is backfilled with concrete or a dry sand-cement mixture. The pre-fabricated basement can be further insulated with materials like waterproof extruded polystyrene panels to enhance insulation. Installation is swift and surprisingly enjoyable. The remaining excavation is piled over the cellar, creating a cosy and temperate environment that ensures your harvest treasures are preserved year-round.
